The course's industry pathways most relevant here: Fintech · Retail · SMEs.
- Fintech
- Apps and lenders compete for customers online, so they hire people who can run campaigns and measure cost per customer.
- Retail and e-commerce
- Retailers and online shops need search, ads and email that turn visits into orders, often paid for by M-Pesa.
- SMEs and agencies
- Agencies in Nairobi and Mombasa, and small businesses everywhere, need people who can plan and report on campaigns.

Kenyan laws and regulators to know
The lessons are the same in every country and use Nigerian regulation as their worked examples. They teach the principles, not Kenya’s law in detail, so read these alongside the course:
- Data Protection Act, 2019
- Sets rules for using personal data in marketing, including direct marketing; enforced by the ODPC.

Your certificate, and what it isn’t
Your Paleon certificate of completion shows you finished the course and its capstone campaign plan. It is not NITA-accredited and it is not a Google Ads certification, though the course prepares you well for Google's free certifications.
When you finish, including the capstone, we help you write a CV that presents your project as real work, and provide a reference confirming what you completed. We teach skills; we don’t promise jobs.
