For employers
Digital skills training for employees — cybersecurity, GIS & drone mapping, renewable energy, and digital marketing — delivered as customized corporate packages, not a one-size course bundle.
Overview
Most staff training and development companies in Nigeria sell fixed courses. Paleon Training builds corporate training packages around the specific digital skills gap you're trying to close — then tracks each employee's progress against it, the same way we track our own students.
That matters because "digital skills training" means different things to different teams: an oil and gas operator training staff on GIS and drone mapping for pipeline monitoring has almost nothing in common with a bank training staff on cybersecurity awareness, even though both are, technically, workplace digital literacy training. We run both, along with renewable energy and digital marketing, as either self-paced corporate e-learning or as our intensive in-person executive programme in London.
What we solve
Every course finishes with a graded, project-based capstone — something a manager can actually evaluate, not just a completion certificate that says a module was watched.
Course content is built around the digital skills gaps that actually show up in Nigeria's oil and gas, banking, and telecom sectors, not a generic "digital skills 101" curriculum.
Enrolment, progress, and completion are tracked per employee from an admin dashboard, so a training budget turns into something reportable, not a black box.
Self-paced digital courses for broad staff upskilling, and an intensive in-person executive programme in London for leadership — both built off the same underlying skill areas, so they reinforce each other rather than duplicating.
How it works
Email corporate@paleontraining.com with your team size and the skill areas you're training for — cybersecurity, GIS and drone mapping, renewable energy, digital marketing, or social media management.
Course mix, cohort size, and pacing get set up around your organisation, including customization options and, on request, preparing your own internal L&D staff to help cascade the training further.
Employees work through the same project-based curriculum our individual students do, weekly modules through to a graded capstone, with progress visible to your team throughout.

Sector-aligned
For oil and gas employers specifically, GIS & drone mapping and renewable energy & digital systems map directly onto the technical skill areas Nigerian Content-compliant companies are required to develop in their Nigerian workforce under the Nigerian Content Act — see our dedicated guide to oil and gas careers and NCDMB training in Nigeria for the full picture of how that policy shapes hiring and training in the sector.
For banks and telecom operators, see our dedicated staff training guide for banking & telecoms covering cybersecurity, digital transformation, and fintech skills for banks, and technical, IT, and digital marketing skills for telecom staff.
For a more intensive, leadership-level format across oil & gas, banking, and telecoms, our executive training programme runs as a 5-day in-person intensive in London rather than a self-paced course.
Common questions
Corporate training is structured, employer-sponsored upskilling for existing staff, as opposed to hiring new graduates with the skill already built. Demand is highest in digital and technical skill areas — cybersecurity, GIS and geospatial work, digital marketing, and renewable energy — where the pace of change outstrips what most staff learned on the job.
Yes. Course mix, team size, and pacing are set up around your organisation rather than sold as a single fixed bundle, including options to prepare your own internal L&D staff to help cascade the training further.
Our GIS & drone mapping and renewable energy & digital systems courses are built around the technical skill areas Nigerian Content-compliant oil and gas employers are required to develop in their Nigerian workforce. See our oil and gas careers guide for more on how NCDMB shapes hiring and training in that sector.
It depends on team size and course mix, so we quote per organisation. Email corporate@paleontraining.com with your team size and the skill areas you're training for.
